Is there anyone out there who has any kind of experience soundwise with MAY internal microphones ? I have a Ludwig Bonham Vistalite kit as my main live kit with a MAY Shure beta 52 in the kick drum that sounds killer and right now I'm thinking of buying some May XL57SD for the Toms....The bassdrum is one thing, but toms and a metal snare is another thing and by the way - the Mics I'm thinking of is the none drilling type.... I'm not sure It's gonna sound good with acrylic shells so I'm afraid that the toms gonna sound like cookie-cans so I hope that I'm wrong...hehe.  I'm happy for all info I can get because It's not easy to find anything about this topic and when you find it - It's usually drums in smaller sizes and made of wood...

The only good sound I have had from internal microphones have been on the bass drum and those require repositioning for the best sound.
