Hey guys,

It’s now over & done with. The gig went well and we had tons of fun. It was a fund raising event for our local Olympic team. There were also a few other activities and performance like singing, dancing, actions and lucky draw. Hence, we only managed about 20 songs out of 58 due to time constraint.

Since we have not been playing with each other long, we had a few glitches here & there. Some obvious & some not so obvious but managed to recover well. All in all, I think the crowd was very receptive to our song selection and many were dancing along with it and seem to be enjoying them self. We even have the MC came up to the stage to sing along with us.

I’d like to thank those people for their support and also helped me with my preparation.

It sounds like it was a pro/casual gig, I.e., a little "looseness" was no big deal in the long run.  Like I said, THEY had to be comfortable with your filling in at the last minute.  They were the one's going in who knew whether they wanted s sub, or to cancel.

Nice job!
