Does anyone know if Mapex sells individual drums? I am interested in a 24" kick for my M Birch set to cop a more "Bonhamesque" vibe without buying an entire kit

They do sell drums individually.  I have a Cascio Interstate Music which lists out component drums for the M Birch series.  I don't see the 24" kick in their catalog, but one is listed as being a component on Mapex's website.  I would suggest calling up a dealer in your area and having them order it for you.
