Just got back from Disney world. Saw several of the bands that played on the street. (rock band, garden tools percussion band, and a percussion ensemble with singing on the street)   I thought all the drumming was very professional, not star quality but excellent professional drumming.  Talked to the one guy who said this is his 9-5 five days a week.   Any one else seen any of these guys or work for Disney?    It was a fun experience.

Yeah, my wife and I are Disney Addicts (my parents too... Grin). 

The garden tools band (rake and roll?) are excellent!  When I saw them, the drummer had a Roland TD-20 kit up on the van with all the other equipment.  They were tight, and entertaining. 

Didn't Mr. Acrolite do some time as a Disney drummer?  He's got some great stories about what it takes to perform at the Disney standard of quality every day.

edit:  Check out the Polka band in the Biergarten in the Germany pavilion at Epcot.  They're very good, and they have to perform that show every 20 -30 minutes!

I used to love the "Jammitors" and Epcot. Trolling garbage crew that would break out the "cans' and play. Got to be friends with a couple of them...too many Disney trips. I think one or two of the guys wound up in Blue Man group.

I am pretty sure any incarnation of the group stopped a while ago....but sounds like "Rake and Roll", may be the same idea of a "disguised" band.
