I just bought the classic "Syncopation" book and I'm wondering if you all can suggest some good ways to use it with my kit.  I've heard that there's no limit to how you can use it.

Can anyone suggest some good exercises?

Also, and I know this may sound like a really dumb question, but what are the main benefits or uses of syncopation?

Thanks a lot!

This shows you how to apply Syncopation and Stick Control to the drumset.

Wow...
Don't know how I missed that page.  I loved Stick Control for about a year and then gradually got tired of the pad exercises that you so clearly illustrated are just the beginning.  I've got some work to do.

But as far as the Syncopation book goes, I can only assume it's similar to Stick Control if Bart recommends it.

Love this site!!!!!
