Anyone know anything about these? I've been thinking about a new ride and recently played a Masterwork Ride and liked it...but was hoping someone had a little more experience with them. Here's the cymbal:  http://cgi.ebay.com/DARK-SOFT-Masterwork-Legend-20-Ride-2430-g-NEW_W0QQitemZ140012167698QQihZ004QQcategoryZ41446QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Handmade Turkish B20 alloy cymbals along the lines of Istanbul, Bosphorus, etc.

Modern Drummer reviewed and rated them very highly. They use some kind of mysterious aging process if I remember right. I have played on one in a store and it seemed like a nice turkish style cymbal.

Since they are forged and hand hammered, every one will be different, so you really should listen to a cymbal personally before you buy...

No stores or people around where I live have these cymbals up for sale...so I was just going to cast my fate to winds as long as the price doesn't get too high....

There's a place in Houston dealing these.  www.cymbalfusion.com and he seemed to be pushing them pretty hard at me when I was in there.  I hadn't heard of them either.  Maybe more people have comments or experience with them now?

I played on a pair of hats, sounded pretty good.  Seemed a bit thin though.

Comments, testimonials?
