I'm stoked about the gig. The Show will be at a "Cinco de Mayo" party in Jackson, TN. El Chico Mexican Restaurant will be the location. It's just off I-40. Tickets will be $10.00 If you're in the neighborhood, come on by! Right now I'm trying to secure backline for the band. Randy Lane has a pretty extensive drum set up according to the rider. I've had to call out the big boys at Memphis Drum Shop to get what he needs. Thanks to Jim Petit at MDS, Randy will be well taken care of!
We'll play the very next Sunday right across the street at our weekly motorcycle cruise in at Redbone's. Last weeks event had about 300 bikes! It's free to come listen to the bands at Redbone's!

Pat Travers still kicks it up. His drummer was playing a set of Yamaha recording customs when I saw them. Jeez...am I losing my mind already?, there is a member here that has done some touring with him. Hope your show goes well louderdb.

That would be Mr. A (aka Keith Cronin).

Quick follow up on The PT Show. First of all Pat Travers is just plane cool to deal with! My station (WYNU ROCK 92.3 in Jackson, TN) teamed up with El Chico Mexican Restaurant to produce and promote the show. From the get go Pat answered all the phone calls and emails himself! A few things to deal with like some back line requirements were handled by the band, but Pat was the lead contact and he's just awesome to work with! Secondly, Pat goes even further to offer up some on air interviews via the phone to promote the show. Thirdly! The boys in the band are all freakin MONSTER players! Each very easy to deal with and... well thank God I remembered this about Pat and sent him an email to ask if he would come play at our show!
I have some photos of my band's performance on www.myspace.com/greggrivers if you care to take a look. The local news paper took some photos of The Pat Travers Band and I after their set. I'll load those when I get them. They were going to do a big feature about the show.
My band performed very well in my opinion and Randy Lane (Pat's drummer) said he came down from the hotel long enough to hear a few minutes of our set. He liked what he heard. Randy by the way...well he gots the cereal boys and girls!  Wink But you'd expect that or he wouldn't be hangin' with Pat Travers!
I can't wait to have them back in town! That was second time I got to introduce the Pat Travers Band! What a thrill!
Oh and Kieth... I dropped your name and said good things! Pat agreed... Wink You da man!

Hes in town tonight at a local bike rally, starts at 8, we go on at stage B at 10:30 so at least ill get to see him again. Night Ranger will be playing two blocks from us at the same time. Im not really into ruining an entire saturday night for one 90 minute show but thats life Angry.
