Hi,

I'm new here..going to audition for music schools in the fall 2008.

I am planning on applying as a jazz major, and even though I have picked out my classical repertoire, I can't decide what to play for the jazz portion of the audition (which counts pretty heavily).

Generally for my prepared piece, it can be a transcription, published solo or big band chart. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for books, etc. that would be good.

Thanks!

I don't know if this is what you want, but I have a drum book for "Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Play-Along Series" and it has [I think 12] drum charts, and a drum-less play along CD.
