Any idea what year?

I'm not sure of the age. They are in very nice shape and are parked at church. I got them at GC about 18 months ago. The shell pack was just $499 at the time. The new Ash and Maple kits are going from $6-750. So I guess I'm looking at asking $350 + shipping? They are very nice for the price but I may upgrade to the next level like Mapex Pro M level - used of course.

I was not aware they changed ply count. I thought they were always 6-ply. Interesting. That said, whatever those kits retailed for will still determine its current value, I think. It's not a collector's market, so I doubt people are counting plies. It's a good thing and a bad thing. The market for used entry-level kits is stable for both buyer and seller. The bad thing is no one can really make a buck on new entry-level kits so many retailers consider them a loss-leader to compete on the back end. Sort of like convenience stores taking a loss on gas to sell you a $5 energy drink.

I think $350 would be the "move it fast" number. It may even hurt you to advertise that because people will probably think they're damaged or not in good condition. I think you could hold it for another $100 if you were patient. It's a legitimate entry-level kit. If you check the value on that market on eBay I think you'll find it's almost impossible to break into that category under $500 new, and that's for stuff that doesn't come with a recognizable name.
