After testing several mics over the years, it's hard to go wrong with Shure for any drummer playing many styles of music. If it's in your price range I'd grab them. In my case I bought a good mic whenever I could afford it. It doesn't hurt to have extra mics if something goes wrong at a gig. I've never had problems with any of them unless some idiot knocks one on the floor. Then I let them know they're buying me a new one. I've had to do that and that person learned real quick about drum mics.  Grin

Exactly, these are all PG series mics.
included is:

- (3) PG56 snare/tom microphones -->very good scalability between a low floor tom and a snare drum.
- (1) PG52 kick drum microphone
- (2) PG81 instrument microphones
- (3) A50D drum mounts
- (6) 15ft. (4.5m) XLR-XLR cables
- And they even include batteries for those without shadow power!

I'll get some pics of them installed and a nice complete review now that I have played with them for 2 beautiful weeks!

I have that kit. It's basically the heart and soul of my microphone collection. It's all I've been using to record drums (not just my own) for a couple of years now.
