Has anyone seen the new www.drumchannel.com ? Looks like it might be pretty cool. Now Drummer Cafe IS the best place for drummers by far!!!

I found it when I was looking at the Buddy Rich Memorial concert coming in Oct. I can't go to it but saw that they will be doing a live streaming of the concert, so I checked them out. The site is still under construction but looks like an interesting idea.
I hope this is OK Bart, maybe check with them to see if you can put a link to Drummer Cafe.

Oh I'm very familiar with Drum Channel and knew about it's upcoming birth for well over six months now. It's owner/founder is Don Lombardi ... owner/founder of DW (Drumworkshop).

There is no doubt that it's going to be fantastic. It's official release isn't until next month.

I happen to have met Don's son at Ponca City, Oklahoma. Don's grandson raced motocross with my grandson that week. I was the checkered flag man at that event. Don's son runs the DW factory for him. Matter of fact, I got chewed out by the promoter for talking with him between races.  Grin  Just after meeting him I bought my DW set at dealer cost. That's interesting, I'm willing to bet his son had something to do with that site. Thanks for the info....  Wink  I'll have to check that out, but the DC gang is still the best for drum info. Cool

That's funny, he left it up to the old man.  Smiley
