Burqa Band...what is up with this?

Has anyone heard of this band? They are a sensation in Germany. Supposedly from Afghanistan. Clever gimmick. What do you think? Are these even girls, as they are said to be? Who knows! Who could tell!

Yahoo also had this pic of the bassist. Just when I thought I'd seen it all. Wink

I see the bassist is taking the Carol Kaye style of dampening one step further. Interesting.

There's an obvious Hal Blaine influence on the drummer. Hell, the toms are even the same depth!

This is a funny ideaâ€”after all, who's gonna know?! Grin
