I want to know because I need decent cymbals that aren't gonna cost one or more of my limbs, but that are still good quality, and if the zbt+ aren't that much better than the zbt's then there's not much point.

The more time I spend on forums, the more I realize how much typing we ALL waste on answering the same question over and over! I'm glad I'm not an instructor! It would drive me nutts! So here I go ..... My 2 cents!
"Play'em! Listen to them! Buy the ones that sound good to YOU! Buy used if you can find them! It makes little or NO difference what the stamp says if YOU like the way the SOUND!"  Tongue LOL There ! I'm finished!

IMO, no the ZBT+s aren't much better than the ZBTs.  BUT, I don't think they make ZBT+s anymore.  They were replaced by the ZXTs...weren't they?  Huh
If I was you (which I'm not, so take this for what it's worth Wink), I would save up a little more $ and get Paiste Alphas.  They are almost pro-level cymbals at almost entry-level prices.  Much better than ZBTs to my ears and I've played both.  If not Alphas, then Sabian ProSonix or even B8 Pros...anything but ZBTs.  I had them and grew to hate them.  But again, that's just my opinion.
The best advice anyone can give you is try as many cymbals as you can and buy the best sounding cymbals you can afford regardless of brand.

Ouch! Touché my drumming friend! You didn't waste my time! I wasted your's and the forum's! Again my apologies for posting such a jerky response. My patients level runs low when I'm at work. Again I say that's why "I could NEVER be a teacher"! Hope you found the answer to your question! Please feel free to ask any question you want as that's what it's for! Lips Sealed I'm just the learner like you! LOL and I learned a very good lesson FROM YOU today! Rock On!

Yep, the drummer cafe is really a family.  Sometimes a little cross with each other but we do stick together and make things right.  Thanks guys, I am glad to be a part of this family. Grin

I have a ZBT crash, and a buddy has a set of ZBT+ cymbals.  I don't really like either line (not my kind of sound)- also I don't think they sound THAT different.

I'm not sure if they "replaced" these lines with ZBTs...  because the ZXTs seem a LOT better, more like they just canned the ZBT line...
