hey all.  ive been thinking about these kinda buggers for a while now but the size is always more than id need.  ive used multipad deals like the roland octapad and the yamaha (which I actually have) but I want something with a keyed layout.  does anyone make a one or two octave rig? like a half size version?

I just check with Will Wernick, and he does offer smaller versions of the Xylosynth as "special order" items:  1 octave, 1.5 octave, and 2.0 octave instruments are all options.  (Sorry, Bart, no five-octave Xylosynths are available, at least at this point in time.)

BTW, I've posted a review of the Xylosynth to my web site:

Let me know if you have any questions about it - I've had mine for over two weeks now, and I love it.  In terms of feel, this thing completely smokes the MalletKat.

"Less is more."  "Play for the song."  "Smaller setups make you more creative."  Come on, folks - get past the bumper sticker slogans and THINK.  Take some responsibility for your creative choices.

Stop hiding behind tiresome platitudes.
