I'm in a 5 person band, Second Nature, where everyone plays hand drums & something else. The interesting thing though is that we have vastly different backgrounds which we bring to the mix. Tongue

Here's two sound samples:
Sorsonnet - West African (Sam Pitts on lead Djembe. From our Demo CD)
I'm doing the 6/8 on conga (bass, touch, slap, bass, tone, tone)

Petro - Haitian (Myself, Dusty Greer, & Sam doing most the conversation on Congas and Kponlogo drum. Field recording)

Hollow a log into a drum.
It's the space inside that makes the sound.
