Food is food, but some better than others. I've found that Black Strap Molasses contain 32% iron. So rather than take iron pills, I thought a couple spoon fulls per day may do good. Also discovered Cold pressed nut/seed oil is suppose to be good. Certain foods seem to have qualities that aid in health. Any advice to share? Trying to get a handle on proper nutrition, exercise etc. as a life style change. Red rice yeast extract is a natural way to reduce cholesterol. This was documented by the medical profession. I can supply a ULR for the report if you want. Drumming and health go hand in hand. I remember the nights I'd load up with cola thinking it was a source of energy. All I was doing was hosing my thyroid. This year I'm going to work on my health  as much as drumming. Not into kooky stuff like ground up bear's butt to aid in digestion.  Just natural  produce etc. that is an aid to health.

A well-known drumming friend of mine, Bobby Rock, is a health guru when it comes to drumming and health. You might want to check out his website for additional tips on the subject.


I don't subscribe to all of his suggestions and persuits ... namely I'm not a Vegan ... but he's got some great perspectives on health. Check it out!

Nice and simple.......Cod Liver Oil

I suffer with my hands (Arthritis) and its suppose to protect the joints....as we all have them and all use them its worth considering although hold your nose when you take the stuff....it aint nice.
