First of let me apologize if this has already been asked/answered or if this is in the wrong area.  In any case, here's my situation:  I have recently built a cusom aluminum kit with custom lugs & paint and boy are they gorgeous!  But they sound like crap!  I've tried tons of head combos, bearing edges, etc, but I think I'm only throwing good $ after bad & wasting my time.   I've decided to try to convert them to E-drums using my Roland TD8 mod.  Ideally I'd like to use mesh heads & trigger them.   Has anyone done this *successfully* and how?  I'd really like to use this beautiful kit and I am very pleased with my V-Drums, they are just too small and well...not as flashy.  Sorry so long.

A good way to threaten somebody is to light a stick of dynamite. Then you call the guy and hold the burning fuse up to the phone. "Hear that?" you say. "That's dynamite, baby."
