Anyone out there have the new Zildjian ZXT Control ride cymbals and other ZXT models, pls give me your opinion of these cymbals. I am strongly thinking of getting one, cos I do need a better ride cymbal and because the ZXTs look so pretty..

Currently I have the Sabian Pro Sonix 20" ride which has good stick definition, but seems a bit too ringy and somehow not quite there, so I am in the market for a better performing cymbal, but an inexpensive one.

THe other cymbals that have really caught my attention are the Sabian VFX cymbals, particularly the mini hats, the 19" ride and the 16" crash. They also look real cool, so anyone have a set of these or have tried them pls share your opinions of them with the rest of us.

Thanks!

I havent played zxt's and they havent been on display at my local guitar center but I've heard they are just good looking zbt's with a little more durability. If I were you I'd just buy a 20" pro-sonix dry ride, it's cheaper, and it's a sabian  Smiley
