Are you looking for an affordable way to get some professional feedback on your playing as well as fresh ideas? I offer Critique Lessons in which I watch and listen to you play, then respond back to you with my observations, lesson plan suggestions, and resource materials.

Here's how it works. You send me a video tape* of you playing any one of the following:
  • grooves
  • grooves with fills
  • soloing
  • playing to a favorite CD
  • playing with a "play-along" CD
  • playing with a band, etc.
*Video length should be approximately 15 to 20 minutes and preferably taped from a side angle view. The video can be of amateur quality, no studio video tapes are necessary. The sound and audio need to be clear and easy to understand so that I can give you the best possible feedback on your drumming.

Include a blank 60 minute cassette tape so that I may talk you through your video. I'll include notated exercises and a list of resource materials to help you. Students of all levels and playing styles are welcome. Each lesson is tailored to meet your need(s) and areas of special interest.

CRITIQUE LESSON FEES: $25.00  (run time will vary)

Be sure to include:
  • a VHS or DVD of your playing
  • a check or money order in the amount of $25.00 (US funds) payable to Drummer Cafe.
You may also send your payment via PayPal.
