Hey guys ! I know this is last minute but I have percussion auditions Monday or Tuesday and I have to have a prepared piece and I dont know what to play ! I want a two mallet piece that isn't gonna take me forever to learn but isn't easy cheesy! Anyone have any suggestions on a piece and where I can find it !? THANK YOU !!!

I'm with Hippie on this one.  Find an etude in the Goldenberg book.

The auditioners are probably just looking to be sure you can play moderately well.  A G'berg etude is just the ticket.

just make sure you play P&B at the right tempo.

The Goldenberg book is the best tho.. realy good stuff in there. If i had a keyboard around, I'd get my old book out.  

2-mallet is ok, but 4-mallet would be more impressive.  Try '2 Mexican Dances' its repetitive, and exercises good intependance.  

If you want an idea for other 2-mallet pieces, try picking a Motzart, Bach, or Chopin sonata for a wind instrament. Those work well, too.
