Great Quotes

"I think there's been a lot of overemphasizing of the technical thing ... you've got to feel the music and you've got to groove on the music. That's so much more important to me than chops."

Well, the title says it all.  I'm a pianist (and drummer, but mostly pianist) in search of a drummer to play with me.  My biggest influences are Dave matthews, Counting Crows, Phish, and a lot of jazz.  I need a drummer who can jam (think DMB) but isn't just always trying to take over the stage by soloing and showing off.  I have several possible gigs lined up for when the band gets rolling, so if you're interested, just drop me an email or post something here.
Cheers!
