Is it at all possible to add on a fifth or sixth drum to a set of marching toms?  Where would I find one?

If you are talking about the Quads, which is a set of four drums used in drumlines and marching bands ... the answer would be yes.

One popular thing to do is to add a small drum called a Spock, named because of the sound it makes when played ... spock! The tuning is very high and is typically used for accents ... much like the sound you get when playing a rimshot on a marching snare drum.
