I played my frist gig this weekend with new mikes on my drums (well, the toms anyway).

I used an SM57 on the SD (always have).
An ATM25 on the kick (using it for a while).
And my new Sennheiser 604s on the toms (10", 12", and 16").

I am VERY pleased with the 604s.  They sounded great out front. Placement was not an issue either (I read some folks had trouble with them on their 10" tom.  Not me. Haven't mounted one an an 8" yet.)

Anyway, just thought I'd pass along that super-quick product testmonial.
