I need some help determining a reasonable asking price for my kit I am wanting to sell. I would appreciate your thoughts or a point in the right direction to a source that will help. I browsed e-bay pretty thoroughly, but nothing really close enough to go by.

I bought the kit new back in about 1987-88. It's a 5 piece, I think it is a Ludwig Rocker II with power toms, 16x22 kick, 6x14 chrome wrapped snare, all double braced hardware, cheap throne, Speed King pedal, one 18" A Zildjian thin crash and a set of Scimitar hi-hats, and on old dented Paiste Stanople ride. It's all in great shape (except for the ride with some dents), a little dusty, recently replaced all heads. I only used this kit for practice/hobby and once a week at church for several years. The shells are cherry red wrapped. Missing one rubber foot on the kick drum spur.

I seem to remember everything new (including cymbals and hardware, pedal, and throne) was around $1,000 when I bought them, but that seems a bit high based on the prices I see for the Rocker kits today. It's been so long though I can't remember.

Any help or direction is much appreciated.
