Has anyone heard much about this new kit?  It sounds like it has good potential.  I havn't heard much about Gretsch since the 60's so I hope they still make a good product.

Plus it's only going for like $650!

I just saw one of these at Guitar Center last week.  Club date-style lug configurations.  Classic jazz sizes and the kick sounds excellent.  At $650 sounds like an excellent second kit.

I talked to a guy at GC today about them.  He said right now they only come in fusion sizes and that Gretsch is kinda testing the water with this kit.  They havn't even sent them imfo on the kit.

From the looks of it the hardware seems to be better than the Pacific birch kit and the finish's are real nice!  The set I saw came with 8, 10, 12, 14 toms 20 bass and wood snare.

Looks like something to keep your eye out for.
