Niether one of those will have issues with weather. They do have tonal differences though. The Fibreskyns are drier than the Nuskyns. Thats about it. They also have slightly different feels, which matters a bit on hand drums

The Fibreskyn feels a bit more papery, while the Nuskyn feels a bit more suedey.
Personally I typically prefer the Nuskyns. A bit more ring, a bit clearer tone, but still warm and smooth sounding. But the Fibreskyns are a bit closer to the dryness of a more traditional sound.
Ive also heard Evans makes a fine conga head as well, though I havent tried them, I believe Bart has.
