Capoeira is a fantastic Brazillian art. I love the combination of drums and martial arts. Any drummer who sits in will be hooked instantly. I was bummed to give it up because of financial considerations.

I'm not an expert at all. Still I was fortunate enough to study for a while in Santa Monica (near the airport) with my friend Rod Ussing, who is now Professor Entrada in Hawaii. If you ever have the fortune of studying with him, tell him "Private Joker from DTY" sent you.

Just for note!

The Mestre Churrasco, a known berimbau player from my city, Porto Alegre, an amazing player and musician are going to record at my studio... So, I think i'll put something for us to listen (if he agree)!! He is great!!!

What do you think?
