Started off in school band on trumpet because the family owned one. The third year we moved to another town and I signed up for drums because it would be easier. Then I took my first lesson !

That Christmas, an aunt  gave me the "Krupa and Rich" LP and that was it. Got hooked on the jazz in it because all the drumming I heard on pop records was incredibly boring.  Still trying to play as well as Gene and Buddy did in 1956  Cheesy
