A beginner bell kit

Hey, I am interested in learning a mallet instrument to go with my drumset and I've been checking out eBay for used beginner kits. I just wanted to check with you guys on a certain piece before I made the purchase because it seemed significantly lower in price than the others.

There is the item and if anyone has any comments that would be great. Thanks a lot! -Adam

I wouldn't spend more than $75 on that item; less if possible. You can buy them brand new for not much more than that.
I think it's a fine way to begin learning to play mallets. If you don't need the practice pad, etc., you might be able to find just the bell kit.
From the looks of the practice pad, the former owner didn't play much or the kit is not very old. Seems like a decent deal. I've sold kits like this one for $125-150 ... used ... in the past.

I also desire a bell kit.In all honesty I would love to get a full size xylophone and a midi pad ( like Neil Peart has ) and just go crazy composing things. But since I can't afford a xylophone or pad I would really like to invest in a bell kit.A more upper class one that is.

They have concert quality bell kits that I'm guessing are more durable than the student ones. I think prices start around 400 USD for new sets.
