Anyone seen Joey Waronker live?
I've got him playing on two Beck CD's and he sounds like he plays really quietly.
I've been championing playing more quietly recently and meeting some resistance. I'd be interested to know if Joey's already there.  Cool

he's on Gavin DeGraw's debut, and while the album is hit or miss, Joey's drumming really makes the songs for me.  love the beats!

not exactly quiet, but rockin' nonetheless.  Wink

but if you're digging some quieter drumming, check out most any Cowboy Junkies album, especially the "Trinity Session" with Peter Timmons on drums.
