thnx again Bartman for this usefull reply..
let me bother you, or someone else who might be able to help me on this one, one last time them
tomorrow I'm going over to this guy who's selling the rockstar to see if I want to buy it. I'm quite new to the buying-a-drumset world, so I need help with the points I need to look at for the drumset...
because only then I can really decide whether I will buy it or not..
what points should I check out?
- scratches on the drumset
- overall quality of the drumset
- quality of hi-hat and bass drum pedal
- quality of drum heads
- the sound of the drumset wether I like the sound
- playing on the set, does it feel good playing on it?
- mounting system, are the toms easily moveable so I can set it up anyway that's comfortable for me
- quality + sound of the Paiste symbals, do I like the sound, any dents on the symbal
what about these pointers I just made up.. if I look for these when deciding to buy the set or not, will I end up with a good set? or are there more/other pointers I should look for?
I can assure you this will be my last question for this set, then I'm all ready to go off and maybe buy the Rockstar, I will go for bidding 300 - 450 to start off with, offcourse depending on the result of above pointers

Bartman isn't there any chance you could come along with me to buy the set? i bet you could get a great price

just kidding, don't think it'll be worth the travel to the Netherlands for you :p
