I posted a topic a couple weeks ago about this how Alien Ant Farm's Mike Cosgrove was playing a weird cascara pattern over the verse on "Rubber Mallet." I couldn't figure out how he was playing the cowbell part. I think I've figured out he's actually playing the cowbell part with his left foot, which is more disturbing to me than thinking he worked out some crazy sticking to play it with his hands.

If I'm right, then I vote this guy as an "Up And Comer." The body of his work is fairly standard, but his playing on this song deserves some kind of mention in Mr. A's "Drum Grooves of Doom" ... and I don't even like most alt-metal (or any metal at all, for that matter).
