Through reading many of your posts, it's obvious that you're passionate about drums and music.  That, to me, is the most important thing.  If you and the guitarist are a solid unit, maybe it is time for the two of you to move on.  You WILL find a bassist and vocalist eventually.  An ongoing struggle between the singer and guitarist will just keep eating away at everyone.  If you can deal, just keep trying to find a bass player.  If not, there sure are a lot of Musicians Wanted and Musicians Available ads on the net.......
