I wanted to take this opportunity to highly recomend to anyone that is considering attending the Integrity Music's Seminars for Worship.  I just spent Monday and Tuesday of this week at the Seminar in Des Moines, Iowa, with Carl Albrecht.  WOW!

Monday night he played incredibly with Brian Doerksen; after only a little more than an hour to prepare.  Carl mentioned later that he had never played with Brian before...

Tuesday Carl held a drum clinic and shared with us how he pulled off the Brian Doerksen gig, plus many other tips and thoughtful insight for the worship drummer.  I personally felt that this info would be invaluable to any drummer!

Tuesday night Carl jammed with Paul Baloche.  I was able to get a seat in front row...  However I didn't really need it since I didn't do much sitting!  It was a real treat watching Carl in action!

If anyone is considering or has an opportunity to catch this seminar, I highly recomend it.  My only complaint is that it was too short!

Carl Albrecht has a new personal website available; it is new and not much info yet, so keep checking.  You can also find out more about Carl and the seminars at the Integrity Music website.

I agree!  I caught that seminar last year in Columbus, and Carl is a great guy.  I was involved in a drumset master class he had there, and enjoyed hearing some of his insights.

I believe Bartman knows him as well, and they were recently together at the Drummers for Jesus event in Texas.  You can find a thread about the event here at the Cafe, as well as the link www.drummersforjesus.com.

That's right...  When I spoke with Carl I knew of Bart Elliott's involvement with DFJ.  Carl spoke very highly of Bart and his abilities as a percussionist, and of his performance at DFJ.  Last night I was able to chat with Bart in the Drummer Cafe Chat Room and ask him about it.  Bart was so gracious as to share a video file featuring a percussion solo at DFJ.  It is really an amazing performance and inspires creativity!

Bart, or anyone that may know, is there a link available for that file?  Thanks!

I think this may work...  Here is Bart Elliott's Percussion performance at Drummers for Jesus.  If not, it is on Bart's website, www.bartelliott.com

Check it out!
