I've been playing alot lately, just on my little pad between studying for Uni, 'cause study is getting super turbo so naturally, so is the drumming to relieve the stress. Problem I just noticed is that on my right hand the first knuckle of my first finger (where the stick generally sits for my french grip styles) is feeling a bit achy, like inflammation or something.

I've never had this there before so I was just wondering if anyone else had this and if so what was it and how did you fit it?

I've got a feeling I'm either gripping to hard (which seems a bit wrong to me) or it's just the damage building up from the stick shock.

Nevermind, I just noticed I'm nailing my knuckle into the desk when the pad gets a bit far away. Genius. Amazing what physical damage you can look past when you're in the mode, at least until it affects your ability to hold a stick.
