Oh now this is the question to stoop me the drummer with 8 diff bass drum pedals.lol.But i'll do my main two and my double.Quick not the main two are identical so one answer applies to both.
1. Tama - HP-20 - Standard beater
2. 5
3.B
4. Medium I guess. Its what came with the pedal.
5. UP.
Now the double.
1. Tama - Iron Cobra Jr - Standard beater
2. 5
3. B
4. Medium.Once again not sure if longer is made...

1. Cheap p-100 Pearl single standard pedal with felt beater.
2. 4 for spring tension
3. almost flat when beater touches the head
4. medium
5. 90% heel down
I just recieved my new heads yesterday and the Musicians Friend catalog had my pedal for $35.00. Thats cheap. I'd like to upgrade soon, but the pedal works for me and has never given me a bit of trouble. I'll worry about another one later since the old Speed King is my backup.

1. Brand / Model / beater type
Tama Iron Cobra Powerglide Double Pedal, felt beaters.
2. Spring tension on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 loose - 5 tight)
3-4
3. Footboard angle when beater touches the head (this is the unscientific part); A nearly flat, B moderate angle, C steep angle.
B
4. Length of beater shaft (again, non-scientific): short, medium, long
medium
5. Foot position: Heel up / Heel down (or percentage of each)
Probably about 50% each.
I'm constantly adjusting the settings though, in my search for the perfect pedal.

2. i'd guess a 4, i've never messed with it, but the beater comes back kinda fast
3. not too flat, but not much of an angle either...
4. medium?
5. 50/50

1) DW 9500 pedal with felt beaterm and chain drive
2) spring at about 3.5
3) footboard at moderate angle at beater impact
4) Beater length exactly 1/2 way up the Bass drum
5) Foot at heel up 85% of the time
