Yes ... stopping using the limb which is experiencing the problem. You need to give it a full rest, like several weeks if you can. If the problem persists you should go see a doctor.

Be sure to warm-up and stretch before you play or practice. Warming down and stretching AFTER you are finished playing/practicing can also help.

check out my subject on tendonites in the health section. It was the only thing that worked for me. Still doing it.
