Many of these exercises are carbon copies of what Tom Hannum taught us in the Westchester summer camps back in the mid 80's.

These techniques are almost identical to what Joe Morello utilizes and teaches to his students... verbatim is a good description. The 16th note timimg exercise is sooooo close to what Joe teaches, I'd swear Mark Wessels was a student.
