Hey Jorge good to see you around.
I sat right behind him, it was incredible to have that insight to his playing.
I'm good, playing out a lot, thanks for asking.

Likewise, my friend! Man, what a treat!!!!! That is always good to hear. With who are you playing these days?

All the best,

Jorge Ginorio

I just got "Traveling Through Time" and "Another Day In The Park". Raul is great but Giovanni can't be touched.  The man can do double stroke rolls on the conga with 1 hand! I was very surprised to see "El Negro" playing conga lead on one of the songs. very nice!

Does anyone know if "Traveling Through Time" was recorded in a studio or a restaurant or something?
That was a pretty fancy layout for a studio.

I read an interview with "El Negro" and he said it was filmed in a studio.

I think Giovanni and Horacio are the killerest combo for a rhythm section.  I love "Best Friends", CD with Giovanni and trumpeteer Humberto Ramirez.  It features some tasty stuff from Horacio as well.  Both are mind blowing.  I can't wait to see "Traveling Through Time" as well as all the other media suggestions.
