Xena, I had a brown recluse bite on my ankle a couple of years ago.  It seemed to 'deaden' the skin around the bite area for a short while, making it a dark brown. Couldn't feel anything. After using the antibiotics for several days, it began improving.  Just stay on the antibiotics as long as the doctor says.

I had been moving some firewood from one place to another. Now I am extra careful when working around wood piles.  I hope you improve quickly.

Gosh Xena, goodluck with the bite. I'm glad you saw a doctor.

I go walking in the woods around here sometimes and will walk into a web every once in a while. I feel it before I see it. I then look for the spider and make sure I knock it off before it gets down my shirt.
Never fails to give me the creeps!!

Geesh!  Xena, would you please lock yourself in a bubble?  It's bad enough you have your wrists in splints, but now a spider bite?  What's next?!?  At least it didn't crawl under your splints and munch away.  Please get better.

Hey Xena,

All this that's happening is the storm before the calm.  Good things are about to come, hang in there.   Wink
