Johnny Craviotto, master drum-builder and president of the Craviotto Drum Co., has announced the addition of cherry and lime glitter, vintage white marine and black diamond wrapped finishes to his Unlimited line of custom-crafted, one-piece maple snare drums.  According to Craviotto, the new finishes are being offered to meet the demands of players and dealers who have asked for a wider selection of finish options on the 5 ½ and 6 ½ by 13 and 14˝ Unlimited models. The finishes are created using thin plies of premium-quality laminates so as not to affect the acoustic integrity of the drums.

Handcrafted in USA, Craviotto Unlimited snare drums feature the legendary Craviotto solid shell made from a single piece of hand-selected, steam-bent maple with matching top and bottom reinforcing hoops. The drums also include Craviotto’s distinctive “Diamond” lugs, soft-drum case and tuning key along with heavy-duty, triple-flanged counterhoops, Remo Ambassador® drumheads and a Dunnett R-Class snare strainer. In addition to the new finish choices, the Unlimited Series continue to be available in classic natural, black, red and blue hand-rubbed oil finishes.
