Legendary drummer, Carlos Vega, was born in Cuba on December 7, 1956. He died, taking his own life, on April 7, 1998.
Carlos worked and recorded with the likes of Curtis Mayfield, Barry Manilow, Placido Domingo, Neil Diamond, Herb Alpert and James Taylor.
