Jerry Shirley, born February 4, 1952 in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, England is an English rock drummer, best known as the drummer for Humble Pie (1969–75, 1979–83, 1988–2000, 2001–02).

Shirley, who played drums on all of the Humble Pie albums, is also known for his work with Fastway, Joey Molland (from Badfinger), David Gilmour, Alexis Korner, Billy Nicholls, Syd Barrett, John Entwistle, Sammy Hagar and Benny Mardones.

From 1969 to 1975, Humble Pie had 3 gold records and played hundreds of tour dates. From 1986 to 1999, Shirley fronted a reformed Humble Pie band in the US and also worked as a radio DJ in Cleveland, Ohio. To date, Jerry stills plays out and currently performs with the Deborah Bonham Band.

In 2011, Jerry Shirley released his personal memoir — Best Seat in the House: Drumming in the '70s with Marriott, Frampton, and Humble Pie — told from the drum throne and backstage hallways during the emerging days of the Seventies classic rock era.
