where are free drum samples?

Hey all, I've started using a midi sampler to develop drum lines for original recorded songs. Basically I record all song parts (bass,guitar,vocals) using simple drum machine parts and then go back and create a good drum line using samples. Then I learn the drum line so I can play it live. Tried looking for stuff through google, but got mostly found for-money links.

Anybody have links to good one-hit drum samples that I can download for free?
Preferably 16-bit/44.1kHz or better quality and prefer lossless data formats over lossy formats (ie. WAV over MP3)...

I currently use samples of my drums & cymbals. The cymbals are high quality, but the drums cost about $250 so they are not ideal for sampling and I'm just looking for something a bit better...
