For any fans of Tom Petty, the VH1 Classic Albums episode on @$%# the Torpedoes is a must see. This series takes you behind the scenes of the production of many classic rock albums.   I think it's airing again on Dec. 22.  Without giving away too much, you have to catch the part about the shaker tracks.  Also Tom Petty's description of his songwriting process is stunning.

I think I'd find that super interesting.   I hope I catch it.    Thanks.

The whole (long running) series is a must see for me.
Many are available on DVD.

I'm assuming this is featuring Steve Ferrone, who is awesome. But Stan Lynch remains one of my all-time favorite rock drummers. Understated brilliance. I heard his stories many times and painted a picture that Tom Petty was really hard on drummers in the studio, but have since learned it was probably Lynch who was a bear to deal with in the studio. Still, he's played drums on some timeless rock tracks and Petty is an amazing songwriter/performer.
