New Weckl Playalong Tracks
« on: April 11, 2012, 10:01 PM »
I have no stake in this, I just got hip to the fact that Dave Weckl is offering new instrumental tracks on his website that include "minus drum” playalong tracks, charts and even a video of Dave playing the track to study, so, putting on my “educator hat," I just wanted to spread the word to the DC family.

I have long respected Dave Weckl’s playing and his commitment to educating drummers through his fantastic clinics, videos/DVDs and playalong material ever since he put out the groundbreaking “Contemporary Drummer + 1” in the mid 80s that offered me the chance to “playalong” with Chick Corea and John Pattitucci!  8)

The new tracks include performances by artists like Will Lee and Oz Noy, which ain’t too shabby either so, if you can dig it, check it out and get into the groove!

Cool, I'll add that one to my Christmas list! Weckl is pretty good at drums I guess...
