My interview with Gary Gauger is a must see, in my opinion.

Learn about Gary's career in drumming, how he came up with RIMS and how the drum industry (ie. manufacturers) rejected the product; everyone but DrumWorkshop. There is also a PDF of a letter written to Gary from Shelly Manne, dated 1979, where Shelly talks about Gary's recent RIMS invention, as well as how drummers need to hear what drums should really sound like and that we need re-educate all the recording engineers to this fact.

This email from Gary Gauger made my day!

QuoteBart, I can't tell you how much I appreciated you asking me to do the interview ... to get out much of the information that very few people know about, and have never really been asked by any drum magazine or publication.

QuoteDrummer Cafe is so much better than the same old stuff from the other drum magazines... I think you have a chance to make some 'long over due' changes in this industry.
