I arrived in Indianapolis on Thursday afternoon and left Saturday evening. I saw quite a few Drummer Cafe members, colleagues, old friends and made some new friends as well.
As far as video goes, close to five hours of footage on tape; I've just now started importing it all.
DRUMMER CAFE HANG!

I made reservations at http://www. http://www.loughmillerspub.com]www.loughmillerspub.com ]Loughmiller's Pub & Eatery for 6:15pm on Thursday and we had a great turnout! I've got to applaud Loughmiller's for really going the extra mile for me. This is a pub, so they really don't take reservations ... and yet they DID reserve tables for us and made some cool placeholders (see above photo) to boot!
Here are a few photos from the evening:

Those in attendance included myself, Sam Ruttenberg, Andy Ziker, Bill Bachman, Marcus Santos, Allen Herman, David Stanoch, Elliot Fine, Walfred Reyes Sr, Jim Payne, Aldo Mazza, Florian Alexandru-Zorn, Bryan Meyers, Nick Kapka, Paul Frederick, Randy and Sam Max ... plus some new friends Mike Meadows and Eric Holland from Black Swan Percussion, Colin Woolway and Nick Cole from Drumsense, Nate Brown from OnlineDrummer/DRUM! Magazine, John Palmer and Joe Mazza from Gretsch drums, plus Jonah Hickson, Jaime Forkum, Dennis Palmer and Gary Forkum from Fork's Drum Closet.
I did see Gaetano Nicolosi and Billy Ward, however neither were able to make it out due to prior commitments.
I'll go into more details soon ... and I invite everyone who attended PASIC to chime and give your own thoughts and comments about the event.
Florian Alexandru-Zorn, a new member here at the Drummer Cafe, gave a master class at PASIC this year and was kind of enough to take some time to sit down with me and share some of his brush techniques with the Drummer Cafe community.
Be sure to check out his new book/DVD:

This is priceless and all of these interviews are fantastic! We all benefit greatly from your dedication and hard work, Bart. Thank you so much for all you do for our community.
Every year at PASIC is important for me but this might be the year I'd have to say I had the most fun overall! The people you see here and so many more are all incredible and it is wonderful to be able to come together to learn and share with each other. I'm still trying to process it all! The Drummer Cafe hang was truly an event to remember as well!
