Realistic Rock 35th Anniversary Special EditionCarmine Appice first entered the spotlight as the drummer of Vanilla Fudge in the late ‘60s, later forming the bands Cactus and King Kobra. Carmine has played with some of the biggest rock musicians in the world, including Jeff Beck, Stanley Clarke, Ozzy Osbourne, Brian May, and Pink Floyd. As part of the Rod Stewart Band, Carmine helped write the hit songs “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” and “Young Turks.” He has been inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk of Fame (along with Ginger Baker and Alex Van Halen), and received Sabian’s “World’s Greatest Rock Drummer” award and Sabian’s “Lifetime Achievement” award.
