Soultone CymbalsSoultone Cymbals® welcome drummer Michael John Baker (a.k.a. "Mikey B"), currently on tour with the chart-topping guitar sensation, Orianthi, to their roster of endorsing artists. He comes to Soultone Cymbals after endless frustrations with other brands to get the tone, feel, and personal attention only available from Iky Levy and his Soultone Cymbals family.

"I've seen Mike develop as a drummer and as an artist. We knew that we could provide the signature sound he was looking for and he really discovered us," reports Levy, CEO and founder of Soultone Cymbals."

According to Baker, "all of the Soultone Cymbals have this unique tone. They're really musical and I mix the different lines to get the sound that I really love, plus they treat you right. You can't get this anywhere else."

About Michael John Baker

Originally from San Diego, CA, an eleven year-old Michael "Mikey B." Baker began performing in his local church before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for music. His talents allowed him to immediately start working as a session drummer and as a performer on the very competitive L.A. club scene. Mikal Blue, a producer for pop singer/songwriter, Colbie Caillat, discovered Baker and brought him in to record with Caillat. After several world tours, network television appearances, and recording sessions, his talents were requested by the new chart-topping guitar sensation, Orianthi, who's work with Michael Jackson gained worldwide attention, as well as her appearances in the critically acclaimed film, "This Is It."

Michael John Baker performs exclusively with Soultone Cymbals, DC California Drums, Pro-Mark Drumsticks, and Gibraltar Hardware.
